While employing traditional sound and rhythms in an apocalyptic mix of gloomy electro, industrial and EBM staving, Lawpacks also seems to be developing sounds of its own. The track has dark classical overtones with deep undertones of industrial goth. What begins as ominous with Sushant Roy pushing words in your ears gives way to howls and screams - yeah – it’s 3 AM and we are legit worried now. Patient Zero is a maniacal ride. "Prance around your severed noose - To try and live for servitude - You NEVER MIND GETTING FUCKED UP ANYWAY" The offensive poetry written on the edge of a troubled conscience with the vocals sounding like a preachy ranting prospero, heralding the presence of some evil falling into this world. You get the nervous walk-through threatening corridors and a pulse and rhythm that is present underneath like the survivalist needs to keep going forward. The driving bassline throughout the song is groovy AF and the dubstep elements are also a nice mix. A distorted guitar fills this with more dread before leaving it all to the beat and trap. You would think this would bring it to a slow mellow end, nope. Sounds of a burning cockpit and the plane is about to nosedive with a sudden - stop. Patient Zero is a sinister track from Lawpacks that needs to get its head examined at some point maybe? If you’re looking for something unique, different and weird, Lawpacks may be your cup of tea.
