LAWPACKS is an attempt to make experimental and unsystematic soundscapes in the name of music. Forgetting anything conventional, this is a DIY project initiated via sleeplessness and the will to make something jarring and unsettling. The project delves into many genres with industrial, ambient, lofi and electronica as the main building blocks. Lawpacks in Nepali is a slang for being out-of-your-fucking-mind-drunk and maybe aptly suits what has been created under this moniker! Forget verses, choruses, time signatures or structures and then you have this randomness. Featuring vocal collaborations with many artists in the scene – this all began one silent night with “Carrion” – the only fully solo track. Lawpacks will be releasing its debut record named “Miraki” soon.
