The track starts off building tension and eerie ambiance through atmospheric drones accompanied by tremolo guitar vamp, almost reminiscent of rockabilly surf-rock guitar. The bit crushed vocals function more like a percussive instrument, followed by a haunting pitch-shifted vocal melody floating on top of a conventional sounding harmonic progression on electric piano... For the most part, the sense of chordal harmony is created in a non-traditional way, using multiple single note drones, pads, and the 2-bar bass line present throughout the song. With the bright combustible drums enters saxophone and flute, which builds on the vocal melody to add more chaos to the mix, contrary to the standard character of the instruments. The abstract nature of the music has enough spaces to fill with one's imagination. The tension never resolves, leaving the listener feeling suspended. Minimalistic and Chaotic, two words hard to fit in a sentence, has found a way to fit into the track. Although hard to put under one genre label, the attitude feels punk. It's almost questioning what a song means in a traditional sense.
