Biography

Boys spending their afternoons in a practice room covered with egg crates playing whatever they want, earning angry neighbors. But those afternoons also gave life to music from the heart. The boys from Grasstunes totally attest to that statement. Because that’s how all their music is made. The boys, all from totally different backgrounds came together to form the band, Grasstunes, in 2016. These days they are into funk rock with a hint of jazz. The band is currently a 4 piece act comprising of Simon Upreti, Sujan Shrestha, Esan Shrestha and Nishant Shakya. Their former members are Niraj Tuladhar and Namashree Thapa Magar. They are however a bit unsure if they should include the angry neighbors as part of their band?
