25+ years in the Nepali music scene is no easy feat and hence as a reward - Cobweb is hence a household name in our context. From seeing them in ancient TV boxes as we grew to live on stage presence at Thamel or headliner gigs or Australia – Europe or US – one thing remains constant in their delivery – an honest expression of their idea of rock music. With Divesh Mulmi on guitar/ vocal, Sanjay Aryal on Vocals, Nilesh Joshi on Bass, Srijan Bikram Gewali on Guitar and Siddhartha Dhakhwa on drums, the legendary group of Cobweb has a stable lineup moving forward both sonically and stylistically. A flurry of lineup changes in a band are imminent in our social context and for bagging 8 albums under their belt, Cobweb has seen their fair share of it as well. (2013 - 2014 ): Guitar sums up the switches seen in the lineup. With 5000+ gigs and 8 country tours done, the band looks set for much more switching to a more progressive style all the while retaining their core essence.
