Biography

JATC is a punk rock band from the streets of Kathmandu, Nepal. The band has been active since 2019. Their music has been marked as a stylistic blend of punk, ska and alternative rock. They aim to reach out to all forms of listeneres all around the world to create an inclusive space for togetherness and embolden the spirit of good times through high intensity music. Highly energetic live shows and a strong social media presence are trademarks of this quartet. Bishal Hang Rai - Bishal is the bassist and finance officer of the entity. He has always been a self-learner and also does back vocals in the band. Dipson Narsingh KC, best known as "Drummer Dipson", has collaborated with numerous artists to finally find the right band to present the utmost of his skills. He is a proficient drummer and also a trained musician, having studied the art of drumming in Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory. Siddhartha Upreti - Sid is the youngest member of our band. He too is a multi-instrumentalist but his expertise lies rather in playing the keyboards and vocals. However, in recent turn of events, he has decided to pursue a solo career and the spot for a keys player remains open in JATC. Steve Dewan was supposed to be a Java Developer in an IT firm but he chose the way of rock and roll. He is also the lead guitarist and vocalist of the band.
