A slow ballad kicks off with a bluesy solo as Kour’s voice comes in reminiscent of Etta James. The horn section, keys fill up as you build to a false crescendo and it all comes back down again. What really shines here is the room that is allowed for Kour to sing with emotion, whether it be the low notes, the smiling words and the high note release where she truly shines. A splendid track for R&B, Soul and Blues fans out there, but really for any music fan out there this is a great track to acquaint yourself with the powerhouse that is Pretty Kour.
