Manual Transmission's latest self-produced release ditches the band's signature socio-political commentary in favor of a more personal narrative. A dim guitar intro backed by subtle synth takes no time to build the intensity. The very familiarity in the song's driving rhythm turns out to be something of a bonus. The bass guitar sound on this song protrudes without overpowering rest of the elements. While almost like two songs in one, the seamless transition makes sense, even if it shouldn't. It's got an almost mechanical but methodical beat, some great guitar accompaniment, and a chorus that is as catchy as it gets.
