“Deceiver” starts off with a muffled guitar audio and some tremolo before giving way to a spheres kind of feel – but totally in its way. A metalcore song at its heart – you get what you expect from it – banger of a drum work – breaks – chugs and legatos – and a solid angst ridden vocal presence. The production is definitely up to par. A good start to their career. Moreover, we hope the band delves more into writing their lyrics as well as it proves to be a bit generic at some points. A descent song nevertheless and we hope to hear more from the group as the EP will give a cleaner perspective of what they’re aiming for.
