Subani Moktan is back with a new single and if there's one word to describe the overall tune, it might be "cinematic". Layered instruments and orchestrations, Subani surfs along effortlessly via a gentler side to her singing "Tyo galat samaya thiyo wa samaya galat thiyo tara maya ta maya nai thiyo". The flute section is gorgeous and the latter half of "Samaya" documents the higher scales that she can reach. Almost feeling like an introspective sequel to "Maya Ho Ki Maya Jastai", the calming tenor of this song is commendable. This is something she's highly proficient with and we also hope she comes up with a flipside of things through experimentations we've seen from her time and again. All in all, "Samaya" is a warm song for this winter.
