“Fall Risk” was a sweet surprise in 2019 from Jerusha Rai as she silently dropped the single and we should be glad she did. The song is like a continuation of “A dark place to think” but something completely new at the same time. This somehow reminds us of her “We All Make Mistapes” collection as well. The mood of the song is hypnotic, moody and brooding all at the same time. From low sections to sections that make you want to sway to her words. This is definitely a strong release musically as well as lyrically. Lest we forget, the only lyrical comparison or similarity or style that can be used to describe hers is Thom Yorke – with shortened twists and subtle analogies that only add beauty to her already seasoned voice. We look forward to hearing more.
