“Chandrama” is an Almoda arrangement with the words penned by Ranjan Pokharel and sung by Sunil Bishwokarma whereas the composition and back vocals are done by Manish Chaudhary. This is a classic tune at its core – something that feels like an OST of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam but purely authentic by its own rights. Sunil’s vocal delivery is a delight on this one as he cascades and crescendos through different ends of the octave with ease. Tha tabala combined with the digital percussions, chimes, clicks and bells gives this a timeless feel already. The lyrics are top notch and filled with suave whereas the overall song is a breath of fresh air somehow in a music scene dominated by club pops and dubs. Kudos. “Maile mero chandrama afai sanga lyaeko chhu eklo jeevan ko yatra ma” and it’s delivery is lovely.
