A flanger and tremolo laden “Kina” by Attar feels like a modern rock sermon at times given its preachy vocal delivery before a heavy chorus separates the mood. The approach is simple and straight up – this can be a staple rock song anywhere. The sections and dynamics are planned. We hope to hear more them with a little for depth in the lyrics department as well – as then it would add a different depth to parts such as the interlude section of this one. All in all, a modest effort.
