An introspective journey with a warm tenor, Subani’s “Inside” is her most ambitious effort till date that also ends up sounding like the most personal one. Keys, strings and her voice as the major instruments, the song is properly spaced out before the lofi beats and electro elements kick in turning this into a heavier affair. The arrangement is lovely and she definitely excels in the experimental side of things. The guitar work is commendable as well and the progressive dynamics makes this a memorable one. The kind of song you want to revisit again to remember the minute details. “As these flames engulf me down, I keep it all inside that which destroys me, a streak of silver where my heart should be” – vocally and lyrically Subani slays on this one and we hope to see more of this side to her.
