A sweet melancholic tune from the NGT don – “Sahara” is a beautiful exhibition of double tracked guitars conveying a stream of emotions. A bit of Eric Johnson and Mayer spliced into one, the melodic essence in the strafes and harmonies in this instrumental is absolutely gorgeous. The playing gets more intricate as the song propels forward with little nuances and licks that reaches the stars and back to the driving melody. A sweet sweet release and definitely something to look into for aspiring guitarists. The subtle key change in the outro is beautifully done and we really wish that Sunil Shakya takes more time out of his schedule to release more of these gems.
