Biography

Born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, Prakhyat is a singer-songwriter based in New York City. As an optimist, he explores the beauty of living through his music. His songs are uplifting and centered on joyful human stories. In the midst of the pandemic, he released his debut single “Ujyaliyo” [Light up the world] in February 2021. The song is about love, the kind that makes your heart sing and dance. It is radiant, positive, and whole. Fast forward a year, Prakhyat released his very first English language debut single called “So Damn Good.” This song is a reminder that your motivation is always inside you. You can always strive to thrive. Prakhyat's sound is dreamy and vibrant with his roots set in pop music
