Biography

Manual Transmission are a three-piece Hard Rock Band from Kathmandu, Nepal formed in 2004 by college mates Subir Shrestha and Abhijeet Mananda Bajrcharya who connected over their similar taste in music. The current lineup consists of Subir Shrestha on Guitars/Vocals, Abhijeet Mananda Bajracharya on Bass and Shyam Shrestha on Drums . Influenced by various bands & artists like Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, RATM, Jimi Hendrix etc. Their brand of music fuses groovy hard riffs with Socio-political lyrics. They released their debut album Paribartan in 2014. Manual Transmission is currently working on their second untitled album hoping to release it by early 2022.
