Biography

Kaagaz is a quartet formed in 2017 and has been a fan favorite ever since. With their raw, abstract, spontaneous and organic sound representative of the 90s heavier – sludgier and grunge side of things, the band is definitely a breath of fresh air in our music scene. With Sashank Khadka on guitars, Binur Kayastha on drums, Suzen Bajracharya on bass and Shaurav Bhattarai – a household name in Nepal – on vocals, the band came to be with few but memorable gigs at times. Suzen has now been replaced by Animesh Shrestha and the band looks to complete its debut full length this year. A powerful offering both sonically and lyrically, Kaagaz is definitely a band to look forward to.
