Blending the lines between hip-hop and poetry, Bidesh Karki, professionally known as Kavi G has dedicated his last six years to the Kathmandu Nephop scene. The Dharan born rapper provides his audience with an amalgamation of traditional lyricism with poetic complexity in his tracks, and often peppers in a few flakes of new age tracks when flexing his creative muscle. Kavi G was brought to Kathmandu by late rapper Yama Buddha after they performed Sprite's 'Clear bol challenge' together. Given the opportunity to record at various studios and participate in Raw Barz, Bidesh was then thrown into the KTM Nephop scene due to his newfound connection. Teaming up with the production company KTM Collective as well as additional artists and a plethora of producers throughout the years Kavi G continues to master his craft and build his professional connections for future projects. At just 21 years old, his new EP 'The games we play' is available for purchase on Noodle. The project is a true nod to his fans who have listened since his early years. With many more tracks, features, and music videos on the horizon, Kavi G will continue to show off his versatility and love for the genre.
