Biography

Kirk Lazarus is a fun venture of this trio’s love for Indie and Alternative rock. Based out of 3 countries, and as complex, vain and grand as it sounds, in contrast - simple, earthy, poignant and to the point is the music. The name is a tribute to RDJ’s epic role in Tropic Thunder and also the absurd humor that Kathmandu University has filled the band members with. The ensemble consists of Alok Bhattarai, Rakesh Sahukhal and Ritavrat Joshi geeking out on proper indie music that they truly believe in but never had the chance to make till a virus aligned all the stars perfectly. The band would like to thank modern day technology, DAWs, online shopping & delivery, sub-consciously conditioned emo-ness and their constant love for dark circles.
