Biography

Ember Eyes is a rock band, based out of Kathmandu, Nepal. The band was formed in 2012 by the duo of Amod Silwal (Guitars) and Sanjay Singh Hamal (Guitars/Vocals). After a slew of changes in line up, the band currently consists of Amod Silwal of guitars, Sarin Bajracharya on drums, Agrim Lama on bass and Parit Shrestha on vocals/guitars. Over the years, their music has been described as Progressive Rock, New Age Rock, Post-Rock, and so on. But the band likes to define themselves simply as a Rock band. They like to experiment with their music, giving each of their numbers a distinct, unique sound. The band, despite having a history of being inactive for long periods, has been able to grab a foothold in the music industry, with two studio albums under their belt, various shows in and around the Kathmandu valley, award nominations, and live TV appearances.
