This 10 tracker "Aghi Badhi" by The Bridge band is an album filled with pop rock goodness and a feel good vibe. Easy on the ears and straight with the approach, if you like the 90s retro pop sound, this one is straight down your alley. "Mann Mai" starts this off and is a lovely example of what you can expect from this record. Acoustic guitars leading the way with a steady drumbeat and sweet vocal harmonies. This album sounds fresh but nostalgic both at the same time. "Eklai Nai" has awesome instrmentations and is reminiscene of Counting Crows in their own way. A lovely melody with a sweet guitar tone this one and a definite highlight. "Rangin Chhaya" is an interesting title and is a Lifehouse-ish tune at its core but with the vocals turned to 11. "Maya deu maya nai farkai dinchu ma, chhaya lai rangin banaidinchu ma" and the subtle key/strings section kicks in. Lovely! The fourth one "Dekhdai Chu" kicks in and you do get the notion that every song starts off with the acoustic guitar before the band kicks in - which is something we hope doesn't happen with all the tracks - and it doesn't. A straightforward pop rock ballad this one with a cool drumline. "Quarantined Ballad" is what it promises with its title - a bit monotone - but hey the lockdown wasn't kind to anyone and this is the most "minor" the band sounds progression wise. Melancholy is fun. "And Your Memory" feels the most alternative on this one as he takes up on English lyrics - fairly comfortable per se but a bit jarring but the most impressive vocal performance in our opinion. Vocal harmonies on point as well!! The playful "Mayako Rang" comes in next. Lyrically the band plays around unrequited love most of the times and the violin n string section is lovely on this one. The title track is along a different vein as it sings of hopes and aspirations and we thorughly enjoyed this one. Another highlight and deservedly the title track. "Sabai Bakwas" is another kickass tune and we can rightly say that this album has a kickass finish. A strong Imagine Dragons vibe on this one. "Yaad Garidinu" is another strong track on this one and fittiu for closure. The band excels more in the alternative sounding tracks where the instrumentations are more free and open instead of the pop rock sounding ones, and thd second half of the album is really strong. All on all a good effort.
