This starts off with what feels like a fusion of post grunge and eastern classical. An alternative rock tune at its core, Ashra’s voice is a powerful instrument in itself as the somber tune builds up on the guitar plucking and flute. A reverb laden atmosphere gives it an almost Amy Lee vibe mostly owing to our nostalgia. The song switches things up at the 2-minute mark into a heaver tune. The fills during the instrumental sections are well done. One aspect that constantly took us away from the groove though was the rampant drum fills that were present in the song even during the vocal sections that ends up clashing with it. The song definitely shows the impressive range that Ashra has and we look forward to more releases from her and we need to see what the spiritual lesson will be from this parable. This one is a good sign that she will not shy away from heavier and experimental aspects of music.
