Single Details & Review
The brash snare-only intro sets the tone for the song. The guitar riff falling short of a beat in every other bar echoes Led Zeppelin swaddled in added layers of grunge rock styling. In contrast, the almost-spoken style of singing in the first half is ditched in favor of a more assertive tone to serve the chorus "We can't deny. You could be mine…". The wah-laden instrumental bridge returns with a guitar solo—royal yet beautifully sloppy bound with a sense of grunge rock sound. The delivery of the closing line "Tastes so good" in response to the build-up will surely satisfry you.
