The Alchemist is turning into a power horse as they are back again with a new single. “Timi Ra Ma” finds Hokko jee penning the lyrics down for the tune as the song steadily builds up into a sweet mesh between alternative and pop punk. If you are into Paramore, Michelle Branch or all them good old 00s tunes that blurred lines between pop and rock, then this is a treat for you. The production is punchy and the melody lines are sweet and if you have been to their live shows, the playful vocal melody around the 3 minute mark is bound to put a smile on your face. This is the kind of tune that starts and finishes without ever feeling like a stretch. The band excels on putting out a melodious offering with each instrument playing off of each other with a wholesome sound and a feel good mood to it. Cheerios! This feels like a trip down memory lane.
