It was a good thing that Pariwartan embarked on their original career apart from the legacy the name already has in the live music scene - and it's even better that this has continued through single releases from the outfit time and again with a sound that's growing into their own. This one is straight in structure and Pravesh's guitar tone is marvellous alongside the production which is top notch. A jangly upbeat pop rock tune with words that'd swoon any Gopi-nis away (all puns intended), this is a definite breath of fresh air in the dingy club and trap havoc we're breathing in currently. The solo is clean and crisp and "Maafi" can be a tune for the crowd to sing next time you visit them Thamel outskirts or anywhere the lads are playing. Cheers to the legacy of "Pork and Rum" as you can enjoy it listening to this sweet tune.
