Biography

Tape is a math-rock instrumental band formed in the mid-2020. A band that came to life amidst a global pandemic and a lockdown in the country had its members introduced and further engaged through social media. The members are Swopnil Karanjeet on the bass, Sagun Man Tamrakar on the lead guitar, and Niman Chitrakar on the drums. The band members are quite an interesting blend with their educational background being hotel management and travel & tourism, IT, and music respectively. The main motto of the band is to bring a new twist on instrumental music and its presence in Nepal. They look forward to not rigidify their genre and keep introducing music from the heart.
