With names such as Foeseal, PAX, Hype and Rohit Shakya in the production credits, Pg. 1 EP by Niwesh Shrestha consists of five pop infused tracks that are easy for anyone’s ears. The Foeseal produced “Chumi Rahu” starts things off as an atmospheric pop ballad that hopes for togetherness with a loved one. A gentle tune that has crescendos and a good dynamic. “Lost Lost” follows things up as a boppy pop anthem with Foeseal written all over it, if you’ve heard his work. This EP is easy on the ears and is a light listen. “Kathmandu ko Thittoo” takes a sweet acoustic turn and changes the sound of the EP for a bit. The overall vocal and lyrics on the EP definitely feel like they need a bit of work but the overall production is still good. “Kaatha” is an example of a movie-ish uppity song whereas the Rohit Shakya prodiced “Rupaiya” is definitely the highlight of this bunch. A smooth finish. All in all a producer montage this one.
